Booking Procedure
THE FOLLOWINGS BOOKING STEPS WILL GUARANTEE YOUR GREENHIPPO JOURNEY:

When you contact us, we will get back to you within 24 hours with a list of questions. Your answers to these questions will give us an idea of you wishes and preferences

Based on your answers we will go ahead and design a concept journey, which we will return to you, together with an initial cost estimate

Communication will go back and forth until we have designed your ideal trip within your designated budget. At this point you confirm you trip to us by email

When we have received your confirmation we will send you :

your final detailed itinerary

An invoice for the advance payment of 30%

When we have received your advance payment we will start booking accommodation, flights, cars etc.

We will send you an invoice 2 month before your travel date with your final balance. We would ask you to paid your 70% trip balance not later than 65 days prior to you arrival in Tanzania.

In the period 2 month before your travel we will work with you to finalize your final travel preparations which are among others:

A copy of your passport

Details of your international flight
-
Contact details of next of kin
-
Proof of medical insurance
-
signed Acknowledgement of Risk, Waiver and Release

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International ( alternatively Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar) airport , you are met by a GreenHippo staff member who will accompany you to your hotel in or around Arusha

Normally the next morning the GreenHippo person you have communicated with will meet you at your hotel and brief you on your upcoming travels. This is the moment where last minute issues can be arranged and/or resolved

During your travel your GreenHippo contact person will be available to you by phone 24/7. He or she will also meet you after your travels to listen to your experiences over a cold drink!
